Academic Support

Academics can be overwhelming, especially in the first few semesters. We have many ways to get help.

  • The Academic Support Centers
    • The Metropolitan Academic Support Center is available at the Metropolitan Campus Library. They offer extensive tutoring as well as time management skills. You can schedule an appointment with them through their website, linked here
    • The Florham Academic Support Center is available at the Monninger Center at the Florham Campus, Room 206. They offer extensive tutoring, including helping you in any part of the writing process, as well as time management skills.     • The Academic Tutorial Support Centre is available at the Vancouver Campus. They offer help revising papers, presentations, and all of your academic writing tasks, as well as offering time management skills. You can schedule an appointment with them through their website, linked here.
  • Writing Support
    • The Metro Writing Studio is located within the library on the Metropolitan Campus, as well as via virtual meetings. You have access to writing tutors who can help you in any part of the writing process. Their website is linked here.
    • The Academic Writing Centre is available at the Vancouver Campus. They offer extensive tutoring as well as time management skills. You can schedule an appointment with them through their website, linked here.
  • The Regional Center for Learning Disabilities
    • Offers support and sessions for students with learning disabilities

 

Mental Health Resources

The transition to university life can be stressful but there is a lot of support available. The counselling center is only open during regular work hours, M-F, 9:00am to 5:00pm, but Public Safety is always available.

Career Support

The Career Development Center offers many opportunities for students to start their careers, even before graduation.
