Films on Demand Database Guide: Using the Classes Feature

Creating Classes

A personal account is required to access the classes option.

Classes allow you to curate and share your own collection of videos/segments.

The first step in using classes is to log in to your account then select the Classes option. Here you will be given the option to create a new class or modify an existing class. You will be asked to assign the class a name, grade level, and description.

Sharing Classes

Once you have created a class you can share it with others. This will require the recipient to have a Films on Demand account or they can set one up when they receive the request. They must still be a member of the FDU community or else they will not be able to create an account.

To share the class go back your account and click on the Classes option. Next to your class you will see an option to invite students. Copy the URL and email it the student(s). They will now have access to the videos in the chosen class folder.
