Open Educational Resources: Library Support

Librarians at FDU can help instructors develop and implement OER plans by:

• Providing one-on-one and departmental workshops to help instructors understand OER
• Helping instructors formulate search strategies to locate relevant open resources
• Helping instructors explore and find library resources that may support learning objectives
• Providing basic copyright resources and guidance through our Copyright Basics Guide
• Assisting instructors with refining research assignments using Information Literacy objectives
• Providing a collection of curated resources through our OER Guide
• Assisting instructors in adopting, adapting, and creating OER when possible
