Discovery Catalog User's Guide: User Accounts

To access your user account, select the Sign In option in the upper right corner of the homepage.

On the sign in page, you will choose the top option, which is to sign in with your FDU Net ID and password. It should take you to FDU's Single Sign-On page.

To view your library account, select My Account in the Library Links menu. In your account, you can view the items that you currently have checked out, request to renew an item, and view any fines you may have for overdue or missing items.

One of the benefits to singing in when you are conducting your research is that you can save your searches. Once you have a search saved, you can access it by selecting Saved Searches on the homepage, located in the upper right corner below Library Links.

Another benefit to signing in while conducting your research, is that you can save items that you would like to return to later, after your session has expired. When you select My Items from the homepage, you will be able to view records that you have saved. To create a list with the items that you have saved, check the boxes next to all of the items you would like to include, and Create a List. Your saved lists will appear in the drop down menu beneath you account name.
