Simmons Catalyst can be accessed at school or away from campus using your FDU NetID and password. This database can be found on the library's A to Z database list as well as well as in a number of subject guides. There can be up to five simultaneous users for this database at any one time.
Simmons recently updated their database from Simmons Insights (version 1.0) to Simmons Catalyst (version 2.0). Although the screens may look a little different, much of the content is the same. When you open the new version of Simmons, you will see a screen that is similar to the one provided below.
The screen shows the work that was previously saved. A three dot menu on the right side of the screen enables users to select different options for each item such as opening, renaming, deleting, sharing, or exporting it.
If you do not see a screen similar to the one shown above, this means you may be in the old version of Simmons. Simply click on the button on the top that says "Launch 2.0" to get to the new version.
