Browsing Issues

Choice Reviews allows you to browse lists of resource reviews by subject area broken down into five broad categories, Reference, Humanities, Science and Technology, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Interdisciplinary Categories. These subject areas are further broken down into over 70 subcategories.

To browse the reviews, click on the Reviews tab. From here you can choose to view the most recent reviews or those in a particular subject area. Though all options will bring you to the same results page where you can easily modify your search.

From here you can modify your results as necessary. You may notice there is a (0) next to all the subjects you have not selected. Normally this would imply there would be no additional results if you added one of these subjects to your search. This is not true in this instance. If you select another discipline it will increase the number of results you get. I believe the (0) suggests there are no titles which are classified under two different subject areas.

From the detailed record view you can see the review, get the ISBN, and review the recommendation and reading level.
